I chose architecture for the topic of this aritcle because there is no such introduction of something like Biology or life science in the list of folders. What’s more, some of them even cannot be opened! Though this one may not “fit my appetite”, it still sounds interesting to me. That is why it became the subject and I would like to write something about it.
Schoolmate Yu Yang’s mom shared about her experience studying, also working in the fields of architecture. She learned about, and was favor of art since a very young age. Her hobby promoted her to take the path of being an architect. After taking the course, she found herself enjoying the feeling of creating original building models in her projects. Making one’s unique design out of nothing sounds creditable to me. Furthermore, as she have said in her presentation, the architecture field is getting more and more welcomed by the municipal department. It is a kind of career which has its prospects brought by originality which could not be replaced by the rapid developing AI technologies. This will do a great benefit for any of the career paths in such an era which AI is grudually taking the place of humans and causing unemployment problems we are in.
I have to say sorry as I always regard Biology is the right path for me, so there’s few chance I choose architecture to be my major. However, I am still very thankful to Yu Yang’s mom for her excellent presentation and it broaden the horizon towards career and life of mine. Here I wish to express my thanks to both her share and her meticulous preparations.
