Among all these interviews & presentations, the one focused on double major in Food and Nutritional Sciences attracted me most. As I have said in my own introduction, I had a keen interest in studying knowledge associated with Biology at a young age. Through Crystal’s introduction, I found out that UBC provides student with one of the best education can be found worldwide, and that contains applied biology.
My mother once told me there’s few chance for foreign students to study animal science in Canada or something like that. It seems UBC gives me the oppotunity to have access to my longing dream! I also learned from the interview that University of British Columbia has a wide range of after class activities and various clubs to choose from, as well as well-equipped arena for students to do some workout! This will be the perfect chance to meet new people and experience a whole new type of life. What’s more, Crystal strongly recommends the food either from the school canteen or local resturants. After reading her introducion, I felt we have the very same appetite by comparing our opinions of Nanmo’s lunch. Unlike many of my classmates who were picky-eaters, I accept the meal fairly (at most times, not when the dish is mistakenly spoiled). I’m looking forward to enjoy the life in UBC, anyway!
